SUMMARY
Workers on our Assembly and Dress Out line assemble, inspect, and prepare cabinetry and millwork products. This role involves assembling prefabricated components, installing hardware and accessories, inspecting for quality and finish, and ensuring each product meets company standards before leaving the production floor.
This role requires a strong attention to detail, a focus on safety, and technical/mechanical proficiency.
JOB DUTIES
- Assemble cabinetry and millwork products using hand and power tools according to drawings and specifications.
- Inspect assembled products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Install hardware, doors, drawers, and accessories as part of the "dress out" process.
- Identify and report material or workmanship defects to the Plant Foreman or Lead Hand.
- Follow daily production schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Assist with packaging completed products for delivery when required.
- Follow all company safety procedures and contribute to a safe, respectful workplace.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a cabinet manufacturing or woodworking environment preferred.
- Previous experience in woodworking, cabinetry, furniture assembly, or manufacturing considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to interpret work orders and follow instruction.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in-person at Progressive Cabinets & Millwork for one or both of the following shifts. We are recruiting both day shift and night shift roles.
7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
4:00 p.m. – 3:30 a.m., Monday - Thursday
