FT Sign Graphics Applicator

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Read work orders carefully and extract important information and dimensions
  • Cut lexan and acrylics for sign faces as per work orders
  • Application of vinyl's to all types of surfaces
  • Stretching of flex substrate into tension frame
  • Work in a team setting for finishing various sign components in metal and plastic using various hand and power tools
  • Pay close attention to measurement marking and cutting.
  • Regularly inspect the quality of the materials and condition of the final product
  • Maintain a neat and organized station at all times
  • Responsible for using all equipment and operating all tools and machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner as instructed by safe operating procedures
  • Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Completion of High School or general education degree (GED)
  • Able to read and understand work orders and CAD drawings
  • Proven ability to use a measuring tape accurately
  • Experience in applying vinyl, pre-mask or similar an asset but not required
  • Excellent eye/hand coordination
  • Verbal and written proficiency in English
  • Detail oriented, accurate and safe
  • Strive toward developing new skills within all areas of shop production
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting is an asset
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision

Electra Sign offers: A competitive salary based on experience, a comprehensive benefits package, and a fast-paced team environment. Wages start at $15.00/hr. or more based on experience.
