Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Oracle database solutions, including data models and database schemas that align with business requirements.
  • Write efficient PL/SQL code to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes essential for data warehousing and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle databases with SAP systems and other enterprise applications.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to improve performance across databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Build and maintain ETL workflows using tools like SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to facilitate seamless data movement.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights by designing effective data warehouses and supporting analysis skills.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles, contributing to continuous improvement and rapid delivery of features.
  • Maintain Linux-based environments for database deployment and management, ensuring high availability and security.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Oracle Developer or in a similar role with strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL programming for developing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, database design principles, and data warehouse concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes using tools such as SSIS or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with SAP integration, Java programming, Python scripting, and Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.
  • Strong analysis skills to interpret complex data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems for database deployment and management.
