Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves the fabrication, assembly, and installation of cabinets, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with designers and clients to create custom solutions that meet their needs.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications
  • Construct cabinets using various materials, ensuring precision in measurements and cuts
  • Perform cabinet installation at client locations, ensuring proper fit and finish
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools
  • Execute restoration projects as needed, bringing new life to existing cabinetry
  • Engage in construction painting and finishing processes for completed projects
  • Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical for integrated installations
  • Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate project timelines and material needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related fields
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics
  • Strong maintenance person skills with experience in assembly and general construction tasks
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
