Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and seat customers, presenting menus and explaining daily specials
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions are noted
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a focus on food service and hospitality
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations
- Experience in serving or barista roles is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
