Job Title: Production Co-ordinator Defence Protection Systems
Location: London, ON Canada
Hours: 40 hrs per week (Mon to Fri) based on-site

At NP Aerospace, our Production Co-ordinators are instrumental in manufacturing advanced products, including ballistic armour protection. You will contribute to key production processes and assembly, and work with a team of skilled leaders and operators to ensure efficiency, uphold the highest quality standards, and achieve daily production targets.

JOB DUTIES
- Meet production targets.
- Communication of production KPIs at regular shop floor meetings.
- Maintain operational excellence, ensuring daily production output is met, and actively problem-solve where issues arise.
- Backfill areas of the process that may require it.Full-task coverage of holidays, illness, or uplifts specified by production schedules.
- Maintain ERP to ensure stock levels are correct and builds are complete in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional departments such as supply chain, logistics and quality assurance.
- Aim for continuous improvement through effective communication throughout all teams including production, quality, engineering, and technical teams.
- Promote, through individual accountability, the highest quality standards allied to the manufactured product.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS AND ACHIEVEMENT REQUIRED
- Successful delivery of concept designs and launch of new products, on time, to cost and on schedule.
- Oversee the planning and execution of design and validation activities on military vehicle sub-systems.
- Support first off and prototype builds as well as transitions into full production.
EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Post-secondary education in manufacturing, engineering, business administration or related field.
- Minimum 2-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance.
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident eligible to receive Canadian security clearance.
Desirable
- Detail-oriented and proactive.
- Strong grasp of lean manufacturing, inventory management and process co-ordination.
- Proficient in ERP systems.
- Familiarity with ISO standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
