About Us

We are a growing mental health practice specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety and obsessive–compulsive related disorders. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate therapist with strong competence in treating OCD across the lifespan, including children and youth.

Position Overview

The OCD Specialist Psychotherapist will provide assessment and therapy services to clients of all ages, with a caseload that includes children (ages 6+), adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate may bring their own methods to therapy. The may possibly have experience with ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), or CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). The style is flexible, as long as they feel confident adapting treatment for younger clients when needed.

Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based assessment and therapy for OCD and related conditions

Deliver therapeutic interventions

Work effectively with children, teens, adults

Comply with regulatory standards

Collaborate with team members and participate in clinical meetings

Offer psycho-education to parents and caregivers when working with younger clients

Qualifications

Registered Psychotherapist (RP), Psychologist, Psychological Associate, Social Worker, or qualifying equivalent

Must be part of a regulatory body

Experience working with children and youth

Strong knowledge of anxiety, OCD subtypes, and tic-related challenges

Ability to work independently

Compassionate, organized, and committed to ethical practice

Familiarity with tic disorders and ADD

Bilingual (English/French)
