Opportunity Overview:

· 24 hours per week maximum as per CBA (equivalent to 3 shifts per work week inclusive of Saturdays)

· Multi shift availability (Days, Afternoons, Midnights) and weekend shifts

· Flexible availability for on-call shifts. However, must provide a minimum of 3 Shifts each week to potentially be scheduled.

· Possibility of 40 hours per week during the months of June, July, August and December.

Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties

Packaging/Manufacturing TPT

· Manual packing of finished good products in a timely manner in boxes

· Manually erect case shippers

· Maintain and operate designated equipment in a proper, safe and efficient manner

· Report any deviations found with respect to instructions and materials used

Perform mix of chewable tablets

· Safely operate mixing hopper

· Report any deviations found with respect to instructions and materials used

Janitorial TPT

· Sweeping and mopping floors in assigned departments.

· Running the floor scrubber as assigned.

· lf required, vacuuming, dusting and garbage removal in front office and labs.

· Removing of garbage and cardboard from assigned areas in the building.

· Wiping and washing of walls in manufacturing and packaging.

· Clean all areas in washrooms as assigned per duty sheet.

· Washing of lighting covers and cleaning cafeteria.

· Cleaning filters for dust collectors and empty dust collector pails.

· Perform duties as assigned per janitorial check sheet, sign off on required duties.

General Responsibilities:

· Working in compliance with the company's Health & Safety Policies/SOP's including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities Procedure.

· Will comply with Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP sensitive areas of Jamieson Laboratories Ltd. facilities.

· Other miscellaneous duties and housekeeping as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements

· Grade 12 or equivalent.

· Ability to read, write and speak English.

· Basic mathematical, mechanical and trouble shooting skills.

· Ability to work in a clean and efficient manner with emphasis on detail and safety

· Ability to understand and implement instructions - both written and verbal.

· Reliable and able to work in a team atmosphere.

· Excellent Attendance Record.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide availability across all three shifts, (days, afternoons and midnights) They must be able to provide a minimum of three days of availability each week.
