Project Coordinator

Position Overview

We are looking for a smart, honest, and hard-working Project Coordinator to join our team. This is a hands-on, dynamic role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.

This position will be split approximately 50/50 between the office and job sites, so the right candidate must be equally confident behind a desk and in the field. Prior construction experience is essential, and while hands-on experience as a window installer is considered an asset, it is not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in planning and coordinating all phases of window and door projects, from contract award to completion.
• Perform site-specific tasks including accurate site measurements, container unloading, and general job site coordination.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather information, clarify requirements, and keep projects on schedule.
• Help prepare and maintain project schedules; monitor progress and flag potential delays.
• Support procurement by ordering materials, tracking shipments, and confirming timely delivery.
• Review construction drawings and specifications; perform basic window and door take-offs.
• Prepare and manage project documentation including meeting notes, reports, and change orders.
• Track costs, update financial spreadsheets, and assist in maintaining project budgets.
• Help ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards.
• Provide regular communication and updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Learn and work with European window systems, including installation requirements and performance specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in project coordination.
• Construction experience.
• Class 5 Driver's License required.
• Fluent, clear, and professional English (spoken and written) is a must.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and documents.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience using Excel formulas for budgeting and scheduling.
• Familiarity with , AutoCAD, or other project management tools is an asset.
• Technologically savvy, with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and platforms.
