Fastening House Inc. is a leading supplier of construction and industrial products, committed to providing our clients with innovative solutions that drive efficiency and success on their projects. We are looking for a dedicated and organized individual to implement and operate our proprietary Kelly Solutions on-site inventory system for our key clients in the Ottawa region.

The Role: Kelly Solutions Specialist

Kelly Solutions is our customized, vendor-operated, on-site inventory system designed to meet the unique needs of every construction project. As the Kelly Solutions Specialist, you will be the face of Fastening House Inc. on the client's job site. You will be responsible for the setup, configuration, operation, and maintenance of the Kelly Solutions storage equipment and inventory, ensuring our clients always have the necessary products when they need them.

This role is a hands-on, individual contributor position. While you will be an integral part of the larger Fastening House sales and operations team, you will execute your daily duties independently on client sites. This role requires a blend of strong organizational skills, self-management, and excellent customer service.

Day-to-Day Duties & Responsibilities

The Kelly Solutions Specialist will execute a variety of tasks crucial to the smooth operation and expansion of our on-site inventory system.

• Account Acquisition and Implementation:
• Drive the adoption of Kelly Solutions by working with the sales team to set up new accounts.
• Engage with new and existing customers to initiate the Kelly Solutions service on their job sites.
• System Setup and Configuration:
• Coordinate with the client and Fastening House sales team to determine initial inventory needs and storage equipment requirements.
• Physically set up, configure, and label the Kelly Solutions storage unit/containers on the client's job site.
• Utilize CRM software to track prospects, manage pipeline activities, and maintain detailed account records
• Inventory Operations and Control:
• Operate and track inventory levels and usage patterns for all materials stocked in the Kelly Solutions unit.
• Execute regular restocking orders based on pre-determined minimum/maximum levels to prevent stock-outs.
• Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
• Ensure all products are stored safely, correctly, and are easily accessible.
• Customer Service and Communication:
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client's on-site project operation and trades staff regarding inventory issues.
• Provide prompt and professional service, addressing any product or system-related inquiries.
• Communicate proactively with the Fastening House Inc. internal team regarding inventory trends, high-demand items, and potential issues.
• Organization and Maintenance:
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and organization within the Kelly Solutions storage area.
• Track usage of all Fastening House Inc. Kelly Solutions storage equipment.
• Ensure all safety protocols and site-specific rules are followed at all times.

o Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to showcase solutions that meet client needs

o Manage key accounts by providing exceptional customer service, nurturing relationships, and upselling additional products or services to maximize revenue

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or related field is an asset.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and execute tasks on site with minimal direct supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when engaging with clients about new services.
• Comfortable working on construction sites (safety training and PPE may be required).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
