We are currently seeking the following professional to join our team:Job Title: Child Protection Worker, OngoingDepartment: Parent and Child Capacity BuildingLocation: Peel CAS, 25 Capston Dr. Mississauga, OntarioApplication Deadline: November 26, 2025Hourly Grade: 9 Non-Union ($ $53.30)Unauthorized Workers: $38.15Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:Reporting to Parent and Child Capacity Building Supervisor, the child protection worker provides for the protection of children as defined by the Child, Youth & Family Services Act. The role of the child protection worker is to assess the risks and strengths of families in the community and to support families in building their capacities to care for their children. The focus of this position will be to assume responsibility for temporary assignments in any function including Assessment, Ongoing, Family Placement (CIC) and Kinship in any of our service branches, in order to ensure the protection of children as prescribed under the Child, Youth and Family Services Act of Ontario.
