The role of the child protection worker is to assess the risks and strengths of families in the community and to support families in building their capacities to care for their children. The focus of this position will be to assume responsibility for temporary assignments in any function including Assessment, Ongoing, Family Placement (CIC) and Kinship in any of our service branches, in order to ensure the protection of children as prescribed under the Child, Youth and Family Services Act of Ontario.
