Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 + Bonus

Position Overview:

BoomerangFX is seeking an experienced
Web Developer / UX-UI Designer
to join our growing digital team. This role requires a creative, technically skilled, and detail-oriented professional with strong experience in
WordPress
,
WebFlow
,
HubSpot
, and backend development. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user-friendly, high-performing websites that align with our brand and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and landing pages using
  WordPress
  and WebFlow.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to translate concepts into functional, engaging web experiences.
• Lead the UX/UI design process from wireframes and mockups to final implementation.
• Optimize website performance, user experience, and SEO best practices.
• Integrate backend systems, APIs, and third-party services as required.
• Ensure websites are mobile-optimized, accessible, and cross-browser compatible.
• Perform website updates, enhancements, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Implement website analytics and user experience testing tools (e.g.,
  Google Analytics
  ,
  Hotjar
  ).
• Stay up to date with emerging web technologies, design trends, and development best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience
  in web development and UX/UI design.
• Strong proficiency in
  WordPress development
  (custom themes, plugins, and CMS management).
• Proficiency in backend development (e.g.,
  PHP
  ,
  MySQL
  ,
  APIs
  ).
• Solid knowledge of front-end technologies:
  HTML5
  ,
  CSS3
  ,
  JavaScript
  , and frameworks like

  .
• Proven experience with UX/UI design principles and tools (e.g.,

  Adobe XD
  ,
  Sketch
  ).
• Strong portfolio of responsive website projects demonstrating both design and development capabilities.
• Experience with website performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site at our Mississauga office.
