We are a fast-growing SaaS company based in Vaughan, Ontario, looking for a Technical Project Manager who excels at bridging technology, processes, and people.

Role Overview

As a Technical Project Manager at VRFI, you will lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver high-impact SaaS projects. You will act as the liaison between product management, design, and engineering, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with our business goals.

This role will play a critical part in scaling our SaaS platform by managing integrations, compliance workflows, and system enhancements, while fostering collaboration and accountability across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and deliver software projects from inception to release, managing scope, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and actionable plans.
  • Manage sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
  • Identify risks and proactively resolve issues to maintain project timelines.
  • Track progress using project management tools and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Oversee API integrations, backend updates, and platform enhancements with the development team.
  • Ensure smooth transitions between development, QA, and deployment stages.
  • Support documentation, testing, and post-release analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in technical project or program management within a SaaS or software environment.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear business language.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a startup or fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in workforce management, HR tech, or compliance software.
  • Knowledge of SaaS infrastructure, data security, and system integrations.
  • PMP or Agile certification.
