Job Summary

The Technical Business Analyst serves as a catalyst for integrating innovative technologies that drive meaningful business transformation at Bromwich+Smith. By maintaininga forward-looking perspective, the analyst continuously scans the landscape for emerging technologies and proactively assesses their relevance and potential application within our environment. In practice, this role orchestrates the alignment of people, process, and technology—championing technology-first solutions that streamline operations and elevate the clientexperience. With hands-on technical acumen, the analyst acts as a crucial conduit, translating business needs into actionable technical initiatives and fostering effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Job Location: Downtown Calgary

Key Accountabilities

Accountability 1: Stakeholder Engagement and Process Improvement

Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenge assumptions, and uncover improvement opportunities.

Ask insightful and provocative questions to explore and refine existing processes.

Facilitate workshops and meetings to align cross-functional teams and drive consensus.

Accountability 2: Requirements Analysis and Solution Design

Analyze and document business and technical requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.

Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, collaborating with development teams to implement solutions.

Evaluate upstream and downstream impacts of proposed changes to ensure holistic solutions.

Accountability 3: Technology Enablement and Support

Identifyand assess new technologiesthat could benefitBromwich+Smith, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.

Work closely with IT teams to design, test, and implement system integrations, data migrations, and software enhancements.

Support user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot system issues, and provide technical documentation as needed.
