Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Engineer, where your innovative spirit and technical expertise will drive the development of cutting-edge mechanical systems In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, analyzing, and implementing mechanical solutions that meet industry standards and exceed client expectations. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing product performance and reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring projects to life.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Autocad, ensuring adherence to ASME/TSSA codes and standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues in existing designs and propose effective solutions.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system design and automation tasks.
  • Engage in quantum engineering projects that push the boundaries of current technology.
  • Create detailed schematics and drafting documentation to support manufacturing processes.
  • Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate design integrity under various conditions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of designs into production workflows.
  • Create invoices and project quotes for customers.
  • Targeting new customers and sales.
  • Maintaining relationship with existing and new customers.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and Autocad.
  • Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for precise engineering documentation.
  • Proficiency in Fluid Mechanic concepts and calculations.
  • Must have knowledge of piping system and designs.
  • Proficiency in designing P&IDS and piping drawings.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in project scheduling to manage timelines effectively.
  • Experience in leading a team of technicians on shop floor and on jobsite
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes to enhance design feasibility.
