Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, versed in OpenTable, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of food industry standards, food safety, computer literacy and team supervision to ensure smooth and profitable restaurant performance.

Duties

  • Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial performance
  • Supervise and motivate staff members, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating team performance
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols and food industry standards
  • POS OpenTable , Toast & website upkeep and editing.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, and overall ambiance to provide a welcoming environment
  • Implement marketing strategies to increase customer engagement and sales
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize food service operations and menu offerings
  • Lead by example in hospitality excellence, leadership, and professionalism

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems OpenTable, Toast such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Experience in team management, including interviewing and training staff members
  • Previous hospitality experience in hotels or Restaurants is a plus, including barista experience cocktail making.
  • Private event menu planning costing and execution.
  • Knowledge of the food industry trends and customer service excellence principles
