Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid top-offs, and basic inspections. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop your automotive repair skills while providing top-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil and filter changes on a variety of vehicle makes and models with precision and efficiency
  • Conduct routine maintenance services such as fluid exchanges, tire rotations, and inspections
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks
  • Assist with vehicle diagnostics and minor repairs as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
  • Identify potential issues during inspections and communicate findings to the service team or customers
  • Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

  • Dealership experience or mechanic background is highly desirable
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as required for vehicle maintenance tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
  • Basic sales skills to recommend additional services or products when appropriate
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week
