Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will play a vital role in driving sales and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
  • Handle cash and perform cash handling duties accurately.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement.
  • Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves.
  • Assist in inventory management, including stocking and restocking products.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist with creating listings and uploading products to different online platforms.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Proficient in retail sales techniques, including upselling and merchandising is a plus.
  • Experience with POS systems and cashiering responsibilities is a plus.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations.
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on enhancing the shopping experience.
  • Ability to supervise team members when required, demonstrating leadership qualities.
  • Strong ability to use the computer , type quickly and correctly and use apps and software.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse customer needs.
  • Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
