We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to lead our sales and marketing team as our Sales and Marketing Manager. Core Competencies:
- Leadership Excellence: Exceptional leadership skills are crucial for this role, as the Sales and Marketing Manager will oversee the process responsible for driving occupancy and revenue growth. They must inspire and motivate others to uphold high standards of service delivery and achieve sales targets.

- Organization: With multiple tasks and responsibilities to juggle, excellent organizational skills are a must. The candidate should be capable of prioritizing tasks, delegating responsibilities, and maintaining accurate records to ensure efficient marketing and sales operations.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Sales Strategy: Knowledge of sales principles, strategies, and techniques relevant to the senior living industry. This role will prioritize creating and executing sales plans, developing sales pitches, and closing deals to achieve occupancy targets.
- Marketing Expertise: A comprehensive understanding of marketing channels and tactics is essential. The candidate should possess expertise in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, and community outreach to effectively promote the facility and attract potential residents.
- Market Analysis: Effective market research and analysis skills are necessary to support strategic decision-making. The candidate should have experience in conducting competitive analysis, identifying target markets, and tracking industry trends to optimize marketing efforts.
- CRM Management: Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software is crucial for managing leads, tracking interactions, and analyzing sales data. The candidate should be skilled in using CRM tools to enhance sales processes and improve customer relationships. Specifically, proficiency using YARDI is considered an asset.
- Event Coordination: Experience in planning and executing marketing events, open houses, and community activities is essential. The candidate should be able to organize and host events that effectively showcase the community's amenities and services.

- Compassion: Working with senior residents requires a compassionate and empathetic approach. The Sales and Marketing Manager should genuinely care about the well-being of residents and be committed to providing them with a positive and supportive living environment.

- Team Player: Collaboration and teamwork are essential for success in this role. The Sales and Marketing Manager should foster a positive work environment, encourage open communication, and support team members in achieving common goals.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is necessary to maintain high standards in marketing materials, sales presentations, and customer interactions. The candidate should be thorough and meticulous in their approach, ensuring all tasks are completed with precision and care.
Education and Training:
- Certifications: Relevant experience, certifications or coursework in sales, marketing, or business administration can demonstrate a commitment to professional development and proficiency in best practices.
- Continuing Education: Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and best practices through ongoing education and training is essential for maintaining expertise and enhancing job performance in a rapidly evolving field.
Experience:
- Senior Living Experience: Previous experience working in a senior living or healthcare setting is highly desirable. The ideal candidate should have a proven history of success in a sales or marketing role, preferably within a similar environment.
- Sales and Marketing Management: Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing management, including developing sales strategies, managing marketing campaigns, and achieving sales targets, is essential. The candidate should be familiar with industry-specific challenges and best practices for optimizing sales performance.
- Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills and experience in leading and developing others in marketing functions are critical. The Sales and Marketing Manager should be capable of inspiring other team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence, and providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine desire to serve others are paramount. The candidate should have a proven ability to build positive relationships with residents and their families, address their concerns promptly and effectively, and ensure their satisfaction with the community's services and amenities.
