Are you our next Buyer?
The Buyer I is responsible for maintenance of blanket orders, purchase of MRO stock replenishment, selected direct charge and capital project expenditures. Coordinates with Warehouse Supervisor and Maintenance stakeholders to maintain stock item master files that include descriptions, coding and ROP/EQQ. Interacts with customers and vendors to define specifications, prioritize and expedite shipments. Responsible for identifying cost saving opportunities . Position will be challenged to build vendor partnerships. Work with business unit and corporate resources to develop and enhance maintenance purchasing strategies.
What will you do?
- Coordinate and enhance BU maintenance and operations purchasing strategies.
- Monitor delivery, expedite orders as necessary and review invoicing.
- Pursue cost savings opportunities and process improvements
- Interact with customers and vendors to define specifications and negotiations most favorable terms to Mosaic for purchase of warehouse stock replenishment and selected direct charge goods and services.
- Process requisitions to purchase orders-stock and selected direct services.
What do you need for this role?
- High School Degree/ GED required.
- 1+ years of Industrial Supply experience required.
- Maximo experience
- SAP Configuration experience
- Warehouse work experience
