Tire and Lube Technician

Duties:

- Perform oil changes and lubrication services on vehicles

- Inspect and replace filters, belts, and hoses as needed

- Check and top off fluid levels, including coolant, transmission fluid, and brake fluid

- Rotate tires and perform tire pressure checks

- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify any potential issues or maintenance needs

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns

Skills:

- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for automotive repair

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as tire rotations

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and thorough service

- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers verbally in a professional manner

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Peterborough, ON K9J 7K2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
