Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly, assisting with menu selections, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
  • Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices.
  • Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests from guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during peak hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided if necessary.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
