Job Summary

We are looking only for personnel with previous Shell experience, preference will be given to candidates living near the work location. Please come in person to the store and ask for Jignesh. We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team at Shell Mahogany. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. This role involves assisting customers with fuel purchases, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. A successful Gas Station Attendant will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with fuel purchases and other inquiries.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and processing of payments.
  • Provide product demonstrations and upsell items available in the convenience store.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station premises, including fueling areas and store merchandise.
  • Handle customer service inquiries with professionalism, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly.
  • Assist in merchandising efforts to promote sales of products within the store.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or issues to management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Previous experience in retail sales or technical sales is preferred but not required.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and technology sales is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.
