**Job Title:** Electrical Designer

**Job Summary:**

This individual will have knowledge on Developing detailed designs for electrical control systems, including creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts using CAD software

** Specific Skills & Requirements of Position **

  • Capable of developing electrical control system architecture from concept to final implementation.

  • Design and develop electrical control systems in accordance with CEC CSA C22.1/ UL508A standards and company regulations.

  • Possess design experience with low-voltage systems up to 600V (various voltages, 50–60 Hz, single- and three-phase).

  • Software programming experience (TwinCAT, Visual Basic, PLC programming per IEC is considered an asset.

  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical components, including Switches, Relays, Contactors, Overload Relays, Sensors, Circuit Protection Devices, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), Terminal Blocks & Wiring Components, and Control Transformers.

  • Willing and able to travel to support customers .

  • Support company LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.

  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.

  • Preferably have working experience with EPLAN; experience with Electrical AutoCAD is also acceptable.

  • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) on machinery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
