Overview

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and be proficient in using various hand and power tools. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the repair process. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Assess damaged vehicles and determine necessary repairs
  • Perform body repairs, including welding, sanding, and painting
  • Replace or repair damaged parts using hand tools and power tools
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all repairs meet safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols
  • Document all repairs and parts used for each vehicle

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role is preferred
  • Dealership experience is a plus
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
