Job Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Manager, Reporting & Execution, plays a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the success and integrity of high-value, complex transformation and remediation projects and programs within the Risk Management organization. Responsible for overseeing critical governance functions—including reporting, monitoring, and lifecycle management—this senior professional acts as the cornerstone between project execution and executive assurance. The role requires a strategic thinker who combines deep knowledge of Risk Management and governance, with a pragmatic approach to risk, stakeholder engagement, and delivery optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead or support the planning, execution, and control of assigned transformation and/or remediation programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and value delivery.
  • Coordinate interdependencies, resource allocation, and risk management across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
  • Champion stakeholder engagement, managing communications and expectations across diverse groups.
  • Maintain, and enhance where necessary, robust reporting frameworks to provide accurate, reliable, timely, and relevant information to senior leadership, steering committees, and stakeholders (internal and external, up to and including the Board and Regulators).
  • Consolidate project and program data, highlighting key insights, risks, and performance indicators.
  • Produce executive-level dashboards and reports, ensuring transparency and traceability of project status and decision-making.
  • Drive the use of automated tools and technologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of reporting.
  • Provide independent and objective oversight to ensure projects and programs within purview remain aligned with agreed parameters for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Act as an independent voice, challenging stakeholder updates, assumptions and decisions when necessary to safeguard organizational interests.
  • Monitor progress against objectives, milestones, and deliverables, and implement proactive mechanisms for early identification and escalation of issues, risks, and deviations from plan.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on critical incidents or variances and develop actionable recommendations for course corrections.
  • Support the Transformation Office governance and oversight model, including facilitation of gating processes and stage-gate reviews, ensuring that all critical criteria are met prior to advancing to the next phase.
  • Engage cross-functional stakeholders in challenge forums, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, trust, and constructive and open discussion.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable organizational standards, policies, and methodologies, and explore and adopt best practices that are in-place across other teams.
  • Document outcomes and lessons learned, and feed back into the organization platforms.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, or equivalent is an asset.
  • Deep knowledge of Risk Management and the Risk Management organization.
  • Experience in program/project management, governance, or related roles within a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing governance and reporting frameworks at an enterprise or large-program level.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
