Role Description

This is a 1 year contract (3 days/wk) on-site role for a Dental Assistant located in London, ON. The Dental Assistant will support dentists in providing exceptional oral care, including assisting during procedures, sterilizing instruments, and preparing treatment areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring patient comfort, handling sterilization processes, maintaining dental equipment, and assisting with administrative duties when needed. The role requires collaboration with team members and maintaining the highest standard of patient care.

Qualifications

  • Possess proven skills in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care
  • Proficiency in Sterilization techniques and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Experience in Dental Assisting and supporting procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure excellent patient interactions
  • Dental Assisting certification, while not mandatory, is considered an asset
  • Understanding of infection control practices and adherence to safety regulations
  • HARP certification
  • Computer/social media proficiency
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team setting
