We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
  • Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management.
  • Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup, cooking, and cleanup.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is essential.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian meals is desirable.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is required.
  • Strong ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a kitchen setting.
