Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Hydraulic Modeler with a background in wastewater and stormwater projects to join our growing Water Sector in the GTA.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Hydraulic and Hydrologic Modeling of wastewater networks and/or stormwater management. Experience with water distribution modelling is not required, but would also be a valuable asset.
• Support Infrastructure Planning Studies including: Master Plans, Secondary Plans and Class Environmental Assessments.
• Provide various technical responsibilities based on your background and experience ranging from municipal engineering analysis and design support, servicing needs assessments and servicing capacity evaluation.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers and designers/modelers.
• Assist in mechanical system design, including pumps, valves, and facilities.
• Administer small engineering projects and assist with the management of larger engineering projects.
• Provide project support and leadership duties.
• Participate in proposal writing and project/task scope development.

QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):

• 5-10+ years of experience and expertise with modeling software. Software platforms include InfoWorks ICM, InfoSewer, SewerGEMS. Experience with InfoWater, WaterGEMS, and other platforms would be an additional asset.
• 2-D modelling expertise (dual-drainage systems) is an additional asset.
• ESRI ArcGIS expertise.
• Strong hydraulic and hydrologic analysis capabilities.
