Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the Clinical Team Lead for Respiratory Therapy is a registered Respiratory Therapist who provides clinical leadership to the Respiratory Therapists at 5 facilities. This position helps to develop, implement, support, and evaluate care delivery, quality improvement, and equipment use including evaluation and troubleshooting within Respiratory Therapy. The Clinical Team Lead acts as a liaison between staff and Manager, to assist with departmental planning and decision-making regarding scheduling, equipment needs, education needs, and purchases. The Clinical Team Lead also works with Clinical Nurse Leads and Educators to provide Respiratory Therapy education support to other areas.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

• Bachelor of Health Sciences (Respiratory Therapy) or a combination of an undergraduate degree and a diploma in Respiratory Therapy required
• Registered with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists (NSCRT) required
• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years related experience required
• Current RQI and NRP certification required
• Leadership Development education an asset or a willingness to complete
• Proficiency in computer programs including MS Office, electronic medical records software, and diagnostic imaging viewing software
• Demonstrated verbal, written, presentation, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Effective research and analytical thinking skills
• Effective conflict resolution and rapport-building skills
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
