Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation
  • Assist with meal preparation and food handling in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices
  • Knowledge of serving procedures and customer service principles is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
