Shona Express Inc is currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant to support our delivery operations. As an Assistant, you will work closely with our Drivers to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of appliances to our customers. Responsibilities will include assisting with loading and unloading appliances, navigating delivery routes, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work well under pressure, and possess strong communication skills. Responsibilities:

  • Assist Drivers with loading and unloading appliances onto trucks, ensuring that they are properly secured for transport
  • Accompany Drivers on delivery routes, providing support as needed to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any questions or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the efficient operation of the delivery team

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160.00-$170.00 per day
