Overview

We are seeking responsible, professional, and experienced drivers to join our team on a casual / on-call basis. This position is ideal for retired or semi-retired drivers looking for flexible, part-time work without the commitment of a full-time schedule.

You will be responsible for the safe and timely transfer of vehicles between locations within Ontario and occasionally to other provinces.

Pay Rate: $21 / hr for local transfers and a flat rate for long distance (inter-provincial) depending on the province of delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and transfer a variety of vehicles (light to heavy-duty trucks, commercial units, etc.)
  • Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Communicate with dispatch and clients professionally
  • Follow all road safety and company compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate trip records and paperwork

Experience

  • Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred, with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) - AZ, BZ,DZ, CZ
