Aperçu du poste

Le(la) Coordonnateur(trice) de projets en ingénierie environnementale jouera un rôle clé dans la gestion et la coordination des projets environnementaux au sein du Groupe SBSE. Il s'agit d'un poste sur site, nécessitant une présence régulière au bureau et/ou sur les lieux des projets pour garantir une exécution fluide. Le(la) candidat(e) idéal(e) possède de l'expérience en sciences de l'environnement, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe, ainsi que de solides compétences en gestion de projets. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec des équipes multidisciplinaires pour offrir des solutions de haute qualité à nos clients.

Responsabilités principales

  • Gestion de projets : Planifier, organiser et superviser les projets d'ingénierie environnementale du début à la fin, en respectant les échéances, les budgets et les attentes des clients.
  • Coordination client : Servir de point de contact principal pour les clients, fournir des mises à jour régulières, gérer les attentes et garantir leur satisfaction.
  • Supervision technique : Collaborer avec les ingénieurs et analystes environnementaux pour garantir la précision technique et la qualité des livrables.
  • Conformité et permis : Veiller à ce que les projets respectent les réglementations environnementales locales, provinciales et fédérales, y compris la gestion des permis nécessaires.
  • Rapports et documentation : Préparer des rapports détaillés, des présentations et des documents pour les clients et les parties prenantes.
  • Collaboration d'équipe : Travailler en étroite collaboration avec d'autres départements, y compris ceux spécialisés en énergie, en ingénierie structurelle et en accessibilité, pour offrir des solutions intégrées.
  • Amélioration des processus : Identifier les opportunités pour améliorer les processus de livraison de projets et mettre en œuvre les meilleures pratiques.

Qualifications

  • Formation : Baccalauréat en ingénierie environnementale, en sciences de l'environnement ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Expérience : Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience en gestion de projets dans le domaine de l'ingénierie environnementale ou de projets connexes.
  • Adhésion : Être membre de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) ou être admissible à l'adhésion est un atout important.
  • Connaissances techniques : Familiarité avec les processus d'évaluation environnementale, les pratiques de durabilité et les exigences réglementaires.
  • Compétences :
  • Excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles et capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches à la fois.
  • Solides compétences en communication écrite et orale.
  • Maîtrise des outils de gestion de projet (par ex. MS Project, Asana ou équivalent).
  • Certifications : Une certification PMP ou équivalente est un plus.

Position Overview

The Environmental Engineering Project Coordinator will play a critical role in managing and coordinating environmental projects within Groupe SBSE. This is an on-site position, requiring regular attendance at our office and/or project locations to ensure smooth project delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental science, engineering, or a related field, combined with excellent project management skills. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Plan, organize, and oversee environmental engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
  • Client Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Technical Oversight: Collaborate with environmental engineers and analysts to ensure the technical accuracy and quality of project deliverables.
  • Compliance and Permitting: Ensure that projects comply with local, provincial, and federal environmental regulations, including managing necessary permits.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including energy, structural engineering, and accessibility, to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance project delivery processes and implement best practices.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in environmental engineering or related projects.
  • Membership: Membership with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligibility for membership is a strong asset.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with environmental assessment processes, sustainability practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar).
  • Certifications: PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
