Position Summary

The RV Sales Consultant is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by guiding customers through their RV purchasing journey. This role involves listening to and understanding customer needs, showcasing new and used RV models, and supporting the sales process from initial interaction to final paperwork. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, driven, and committed to continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction by actively engaging with customers, asking questions, listening to their needs, and following up with all potential sales leads.
  • Assist customers in selecting the RV that best fits their lifestyle, including offering guidance on towing requirements.
  • Present and sell all makes and models of new and pre-owned RVs in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Prepare preliminary appraisals for used vehicles.
  • Continually prospect and build a database of new and existing customers to expand sales opportunities.
  • Participate in ongoing product training to remain up-to-date on all current and incoming RV models.
  • Accurately complete all required sales and administrative paperwork in a timely fashion.
  • Contribute to a strong team environment by collaborating with colleagues across all departments and recommending sales campaigns or promotional strategies.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety guidelines, and participate in required company or off-site training.
  • Assisting in cross selling of other dealership services to clients, highlighting the full service potential of the dealership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Willingness to participate in continuous product knowledge training.
  • Previous sales or RV experience is considered an asset but not required.
  • Willing to work for 100% commission-based pay.
