About the Role

As the Director of Real Estate Operations, you will lead UnlockLand's strategic initiatives across acquisition analysis, portfolio optimization, and AI-driven development feasibility. You'll bridge real estate domain expertise with technology-enabled decision-making, ensuring our platform delivers operational excellence and actionable insights to partners across North America and the MENA region.

This role is ideal for a seasoned real estate professional with strong analytical, managerial, and strategic acumen — passionate about integrating AI into traditional real estate workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee real estate operations across all active projects, ensuring alignment between financial, regulatory, and technical teams.
  • Lead the implementation of UnlockLand's AI feasibility engine across development, acquisition, and asset management use cases.
  • Develop and manage standardized workflows for underwriting, due diligence, and risk evaluation.
  • Collaborate with data science and product teams to refine property datasets, zoning algorithms, and valuation models.
  • Build partnerships with developers, REITs, and government authorities to drive platform adoption and new project onboarding.
  • Supervise operational budgets, project performance metrics, and investment reporting.
  • Mentor analysts and project managers, fostering a culture of precision, transparency, and innovation.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in real estate development, asset management, or investment operations.
  • Proven track record in portfolio management, acquisition modeling, or feasibility studies.
  • Strong understanding of zoning, entitlement processes, and market fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Excel-based financial models, GIS tools, or PropTech systems (ARGUS, CoStar, or UnlockLand experience is a plus).
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, or Business Administration.
