About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in Mississauga, ON. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the HR department, assist in implementing HR policies and programs, and act as a point of contact for employees and management on HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, document management, and scheduling.
  • Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process (job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the ADP Workforce Now.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Help manage employee leaves, vacation tracking, and attendance records.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with health and safety compliance and reporting.
  • Prepare HR-related reports, metrics, and presentations as required.
  • Support internal HR communications and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CHRP designation (or working towards it) is an asset.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a human resources or administrative role.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Employment Standards Act and other relevant HR legislation.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with HRIS system (e.g., ADP and Workforce Now) is an asset.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
