Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behaviour analysis, particularly with children, and will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. This role requires a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with behavioural challenges through evidence-based practices.

Applicants must be currently listed (or eligible to be listed) as a provider on the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Provider List.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario
  • At least 3000 hours post BCBA certification (i.e., 2 years of full-time work as a BCBA with children/youth and/or adults with ASD)
  • Registration through OAP as a service provider.
  • Valid driver's license and daily access to a vehicle
  • Current Broad Sector security police check
  • Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or related field with ABA coursework
  • Experience with conducting Functional Analyses and functional behaviour assessments
  • Experience administering acceptable curricular assessments
  • Some evening and weekend hours may be required

Qualifications

  • Board Certification as a Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or behavioural challenges.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.
  • Strong skills in data collection and analysis to inform treatment decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A patient focused approach with a commitment to fostering positive relationships with clients and their families.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $85.00-$95.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 5 per week
