Responsibilities:

Line Cook Duties:

  • Cook smash burgers to perfection on a flat-top grill following restaurant standards.
  • Assemble burgers with precision, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Assist with basic prep tasks as needed (e.g., portioning, slicing, stocking stations)
  • Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure fast and efficient service.
  • Ensure all food meets quality, freshness, and safety standards before being served

Closing Duties

  • Perform end-of-night cleaning tasks, including equipment wipe-downs, dishwashing, floor cleaning, and waste disposal
  • Execute nightly closing checklist and lock-up procedures with accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with teammates and follow instructions from shift leads or kitchen managers
  • Uphold health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and sanitation procedures at a high standard.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
