About the Role

We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our finance team and provide key support across multiple areas of the business. This role combines hands-on accounting with analytical, operational, and audit-related responsibilities. You will assist with monthly financial reporting, audit preparation, cashflow analysis, internal control reviews, and management reporting across several subsidiaries.

This position is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys a mix of detailed accounting work and analytical problem-solving within a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Support cashflow management through daily and weekly monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Participate in internal control reviews and assist in implementing process improvements to strengthen governance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the team to prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during annual and interim audits.
  • Perform financial and operational analysis to support decision-making across departments.
  • Assist with intercompany transactions, eliminations, and consolidations across multiple entities.
  • Prepare management reporting packages, highlighting key trends, variances, and insights.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
  • Contribute to special projects, including ERP improvements, process documentation, and system integrations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience.
  • CPA designation in progress or interest in pursuing (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
