Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and a keen eye for detail. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements
• Perform restoration work on existing surfaces to enhance appearance and durability
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
• Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Experience

• Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting
• Familiarity with carpentry techniques and rigging is a plus
• Strong knowledge of caulking methods and materials
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
