Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various buildings, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in designated areas.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for cleaning and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Conduct commercial cleaning duties in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Provide custodial support by restocking supplies, disposing of waste, and maintaining cleanliness in restrooms and common areas.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning needs or issues that arise.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the overall functionality of the environment.
  • Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous custodial experience or commercial cleaning background is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in cleaning and maintenance activities is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
