Nail Technician/Esthetician Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Nail Technician/Esthetician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in cosmetology and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and care. This role involves providing a variety of nail and esthetic services while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements with precision and creativity.
  • Provide esthetic services including body waxing, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and dermabrasion.
  • Demonstrate expertise in hair styling and hair extensions to meet client needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable services.
  • Upsell retail products based on client needs, utilizing knowledge of retail math to enhance sales.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and esthetics to provide informed recommendations.

Experience

  • Strong understanding of color theory, nail care techniques, and esthetic treatments.
  • Experience in retail sales is preferred, with an ability to effectively upsell products.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster positive client interactions.
