Job Description

**To be considered, applicants must hold a valid Canadian Work Permit and currently reside in Revelstoke, BC**

As a Dishwasher and Kitchen-hand at Dose Coffee you will bring a positive attitude with excellent communication and organizational skills. The primary responsibility for this position is ensuring a quick turnaround of dishes whilst maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness. You will also assist the chef with putting away incoming orders, rotating stock, and replenishing items throughout service. Food preparation may also be required from time to time. Whilst this may not be your forever job you still have a hardworking attitude and a willingness to learn. After undergoing the required training from the Head Chef and 2IC you will be capable and confident in owning your section and working autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and put away incoming orders;
  • Ensure that the dish area is kept clean and organised;
  • Clean and maintain the dishwasher throughout the day;
  • Routinely check chemical levels at the beginning and end of shift;
  • Report any maintenance issues to the General Manager or Head Chef;
  • Assist the kitchen with prep tasks as and when needed;
  • Maintain proper food storage, handling and labelling procedures;
  • Keep food storage areas clean and organised;
  • Adhere to all food safety guidelines;
  • Such other reasonable duties and responsibilities as Dose may assign to you from time to time.
