This role will have oversight of Canadian and U.S. health and safety programs and be a strategic member of the leadership team. Proven expertise in the construction field is required, as well as a proactive and forward-thinking mindset that promotes a positive safety culture throughout all levels of the organization.

What Will You Do?
- Develop and execute strategies that support organizational goals across multiple regions.
- Lead the alignment of safety, quality, and training programs to ensure consistency and excellence across all operations.
- Collaborate with leaders across the organization to promote best practices and support strong safety and quality cultures.
- Establish clear performance objectives, KPIs, and reporting tools to measure progress.
- Oversee audits, inspections, and field assessments to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
- Implement and maintain a Quality Assurance framework that supports service standards and customer expectations.
- Analyze performance and compliance data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure timely closeout of audit findings and corrective actions.
- Lead initiatives designed to prevent incidents, environmental impacts, and quality issues.
- Manage incident investigations, including root-cause analysis and the sharing of lessons learned.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools for real-time visibility into field performance and compliance.
- Use data insights to guide training needs, resource planning, and improvement strategies.
- Ensure alignment with relevant regulatory, industry, and client standards.
- Work with operations and technical teams to support planning, material verification, and execution of work to defined specifications.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Oversee the creation, delivery, and evaluation of training programs, certifications, and upskilling opportunities.
- Support the use of digital learning, hands-on training, and mentorship programs.
- Act as a visible ambassador for safety, quality, and operational excellence.
What Do You Bring?
- Post-secondary education in a related field such as Health & Safety, Quality Management, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or similar.
- Professional certifications in safety or quality (e.g., CSP, CRSP, CHSC, CQE, CQA) are strong assets.
- Leadership or "Train the Trainer" certifications are an advantage.
- A minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience in health, safety, quality, or related operational leadership functions.
- Experience supporting field-based industries such as construction, skilled trades, engineering, manufacturing, or similar.
- Experience working across multiple regions or jurisdictions is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build, implement, and enhance integrated safety and quality programs.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, OHSA, ISO frameworks).
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong technical proficiency (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems, industry-specific software).
- Proven ability to lead change, drive accountability, and foster a positive culture aligned with organizational values.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels as well as external partners and stakeholders.
- Valid drivers license and Passport with the ability to travel within Canada and the U.S. (up to 50%).
