Job Title: Dental Receptionist

Location: Downtown London, ON

Position Type: Full-Time (35 hours/week, Monday-Thursday; No Evenings or Weekends)

We are currently looking for a Dental Receptionist to join our team and help us continue to offer top-tier service to our patients.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients with a warm, friendly attitude and ensure a positive experience from check-in to check-out.
  • Manage patient appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process patient payments, insurance claims, and assist with billing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Support the dental team by assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Help enforce Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) protocols, including instrument sterilization and room turnover.
  • Assist the dentist and hygienist with patient care when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems; experience with Tracker dental software is an asset.
  • CDA II and HARP certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
