Job Summary

The Healthcare Integration Specialist / FHIR Implementation Consultant is responsible for designing, building, and integrating healthcare applications using the FHIR standard on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on secure healthcare data exchange, API development, interoperability, and integration of systems using Azure cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop FHIR-based APIs and interfaces for healthcare data.
  • Implement secure data exchange between systems such as EHRs and medical devices.
  • Utilize Azure services including Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Hubs, and MedTech.
  • Work with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7, and security protocols including OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.
  • Perform data mapping, transformation, and integration tasks.
  • Write clean and well-tested code using C# and Python, and manage source code through Git.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize data workflows.
  • Apply payer/claims domain knowledge to support healthcare data processes.
  • Use data engineering/ETL skills as needed for integration workloads.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $50.00 per hour
