We are a fast-growing manufacturer of aggregate and material-handling equipment, specializing in the design and production of crushers, screens, conveyors, structures, and custom fabricated components. We pride ourselves on innovation, durability, and building equipment that stands up to the toughest environments.

We are currently seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer & Draftsperson to join our engineering and fabrication team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world mechanical challenges and wants to see their designs come to life on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for aggregate equipment, including:
  • Conveyors
  • Hoppers & bins
  • Chutes
  • Screen decks
  • Structures & support frames
  • Custom fabricated components
  • Create fabrication drawings, assemblies, part drawings, and BOMs.
  • Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes or improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and fabrication teams to ensure drawings are practical, manufacturable, and meet project specifications.
  • Ensure all drawings follow company drafting standards.
  • Assist in design improvement, problem-solving, and prototyping when required.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and revision histories.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience (SolidWorks or similar 3D software is an asset).
  • Experience in heavy equipment, structural steel, aggregate equipment, or industrial fabrication strongly preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and produce fabrication-ready drawings (weld symbols, tolerances, views, details).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of structural design principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
