Except here we're all professionals and there isn't a mayor or a general store. What we're trying to say is that we're a large and growing professional services firm that still feels like a community. We employ about 3000 people across Canada, and we truly care about our colleagues, our clients and the communities where we work and live. That's what's most important to us. We provide valuation services in accordance with IFRS, ASPE, and US GAAP to privately held businesses, start-ups, corporations, law firms, private equity funds, and asset management companies. Our CFIP services help clients estimate the fair value of instruments such as convertible and conversion options, embedded derivatives, market and performance condition options, restricted shares and options, preferred stocks, contingent considerations, royalty agreements, and commodity-linked financing arrangements.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated senior analyst interested in accelerating their learning curve in quantitative analysis, advanced financial modelling, and valuation techniques  while stepping into a leadership trajectory. As CFIP senior analyst, you will work closely with senior team member and often take the lead on critical projects and client relationships. This role presents an excellent opportunity to enhance your valuation and quantitative skills while actively contributing to strategic decision-making, shaping project outcomes, and driving operational excellence across engagements. You'll also support business development efforts, mentor junior team members, and gain meaningful exposure to strategic initiatives that deliver real-world impact.

As a Senior Analyst, Complex Financial Instrument Pricing your responsibilities will include:
· Review legal agreements, technical documentation, and valuation guidelines to identify critical inputs for financial models and communicate core drivers with clarity and precision
· Apply advanced methodologies from mathematics, statistics, finance theory, and economics to develop new and enhance existing financial models using Excel, VBA, and Python. These models include Monte Carlo simulations, lattice frameworks, exotic option pricing techniques, OPM-based equity allocation and waterfall analyses, among other complex approaches.
· Support all phases of client engagements, including planning, execution, and delivery
· Assist in drafting and preparing valuation reports, opinion letters, and other client-facing deliverables
· Review third-party valuation reports, perform corroborative analyses, and prepare audit review memoranda to support audit processes
· Maintain proactive communication with clients and engagement teams to manage expectations and meet deadlines
· Continuously expand knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks that govern the valuation of financial instruments
· Contribute to additional engagement-related tasks as needed
