Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Loss Prevention Professional to lead our organization's asset-protection strategies. This role will oversee traditional security operations while integrating AI-driven anomaly detection, behavioral analytics, and intelligent surveillance technologies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in law enforcement or loss prevention, combined with a solid understanding of modern security technologies. This position requires strategic thinking, strong investigative skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to maintain a secure operational environment.

Duties

  • Develop and implement loss prevention policies aligned with organizational goals, incorporating AI-driven security analytics where applicable.
  • Lead investigations into theft, fraud, and security breaches using video analytics, anomaly-detection tools, and CCTV data.
  • Manage surveillance operations, including monitoring live feeds and reviewing AI-flagged unusual activities or behavioral anomalies.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during investigations and legal processes.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits, using both manual review and AI-assisted threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Train staff on loss-prevention techniques, emergency protocols, and the effective use of AI-enhanced monitoring systems.
  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management on incidents, AI alerts, investigation outcomes, and preventive measures.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in loss prevention, including advancements in machine learning, anomaly detection, and automated surveillance systems.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or security management.
  • Strong understanding of surveillance systems, CCTV operations, and video intelligence platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI anomaly detection, behavior analysis tools, or automated threat-identification systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in interpreting AI-generated risk insights.
  • Effective communication skills for training staff and collaborating with law enforcement.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Security or law-enforcement certifications are preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual

Contract length: 36 months

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
